The Brewhouse will be the first building to be redeveloped as part of the Abbey Quarter, Kilkenny. Abbey Quarter is located on the former Smithwick's Brewery situated on the banks of the River Nore, in the centre of Kilkenny City. The Brewery, which had been in operation for 300 years on the site and is now in line to be completely redeveloped into a new dynamic quarter within Kilkenny City. Brewhouse is strategically located just off High Street, benefitting from close proximity to restaurants and bar. It is also loacted within walking distance of Kilkenny train station and is also a short drive to both the N77 and the M9.
