(Reference number: 144237) Spread over two floors, this villa grabbed our attention with its relaxing pool area and occasional Balinese flair. While the home's interior feels a little dated in parts, the inclusion of traditional Balinese artwork and furniture grounds you in the location, and the four-poster beds for all guests is a nice touch. Outdoors was where the home stood out to us, though – the tropical plants lining the walls create a veritable oasis as you stretch out by the pool on the daybed. The kitchen is diminutive, but with a plethora of eateries and bars close by and private chefs easily arranged with your host, you might not even notice. Home truths: *Given the home's central spot, expect to hear some street noise throughout your stay. *You won't find an oven here – though there is a hob. We think the kitchen, which is on the smaller side, is better suited to prepping lighter bites than large meals. *This home is staffed, with housekeeping and security included. *Your host can provide a free airport transfer with one car for arrivals only. *The communal areas of this building might appear a little worn and dated in parts. *The downstairs ensuite has a walk-in shower, making it accessible to those with limited mobility. *There is air conditioning in the bedrooms here, but not the living room. .
