The natural materials reinforce the feeling of a remote cabin – even though it's located at the foot of Castelo de São Jorge, making sightseeing completely organic. Other nearby sights include Sé de Lisboa cathedral and the Museu do Fado – both within a ten-minute walk – while the downtown area of Baixa-Chiado is only a little further. In summary, the style is coherent, the beds are heavenly, and the location is unmatched. Home truths: * Convenient self check-in with smart lock * Aside from a TV with local channels, this home doesn't have a lot of entertainment options * The wi-fi connection is good for Alfama – we measured the download speed at 30Mbps * Though you probably won't require a car, there is paid parking available off the premises * The street leading to the home is narrow * This is a ground-floor home, but it's not wheelchair accessible * Your host requests that you keep noise to a minimum after 10pm .
