Description

(Reference number: 160679) Ski-in, ski-out access from the back deck straight to the Big Sky slopes is hard to beat, and this timber cabin in the Highlands neighbourhood delivers. The upside-down layout puts the main living space – with its floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace and cosy seating – in the rafters, accompanied by sweeping views of snow-dusted pines, a spellbinding view that's hard to look away from. After a day on the mountain, sink into the outdoor hot tub or head downstairs to shoot pool in the games room (this space will be a hit with teens). Big Sky Mountain Village, with its restaurants and après-ski bars, is just minutes away on foot, making this home convenient as well as alluring. Home truths: * The lead guest at this home must be at least 21 years old. * Due to this home's location, we recommend hiring a car to get the most out of your stay. There are six parking spaces here – two in the garage and four on the driveway – so getting the whole group's cars off the road is straightforward. Four-wheel drive is required in the winter. * Ski-in/ski-out access is seasonal – during early and late season, snow conditions may mean you can't ski directly to or from the home. It's worth checking Big Sky Resort's snow and lift reports before you travel. * You'll be moving between floors often in this home, so it may not be suitable for guests with reduced mobility. * Your host provides a starter set of consumables – soap, paper products, dish and laundry detergent, and similar basics. Once those run out, you'll need to pick up more yourself, so it's worth stocking up on a grocery run early in your stay. . Thinking of selling?
