As for the location, the medieval town of Umbertide is just a ten-minute drive away, with Roman ruins, local tavernas and a weekly market to explore. Home truths: *There's no air conditioning in this home, though there are fans and lots of windows for letting in the breeze. *The villa is divided into two apartments with two bedrooms on the ground floor and three on the first floor. The first floor is accessed via an external staircase. *If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a cot and high chair for free. You'll need to request them in advance. *You'll have access to the pool, pizza oven and barbecue here. They're shared with the residents of a neighbouring villa.
