When you're ready to venture out, hop in the car and make your way to Yorkshire's myriad of seaside towns. Head in one direction towards historic Whitby (about a twenty-minute drive), veer in the other towards the sandy beaches in Saltburn (roughly half an hour by car) or explore on foot with a coastal trek along the Cleveland Way National Trail.
